Protect yourself from your own thoughts – Rumi
Some time ago in my post called: The 56,000 thoughts, I shared with you some valuable information about the power of the sub-conscious mind.
Statistics indicate that we are exposed to more than 56,000 thoughts per day and 70% of them are negative ones. Once, these thoughts get into the subconscious mind, they are like songs on an old CD that we carry with us. Beliefs are assumptions we make about ourselves, about others in the world and about how we expect things to happen.
Beliefs are about how we think things really are, what we think is really true, and we behave accordingly and take responsibility for the effects. It is up to us what kind of thoughts we carry on, how we decide to perceive and design our own lives.
Once you wake up in the moment, with a strong positive feeling and intention to create some great events, meetings, relations and work in that day, the chance to make it happen is high. Your thoughts are aligned with the emotions and the actions you take are in a perfect harmony.
In the morning you might spend time working-out in a gym, having a coffee and preparing for a brand new day. How about enjoying a positive affirmation about life, happiness and gratitude? Is is part of your “breakfast” already?
During a day, crisis situations might occur. You might be disturbed by events and behaviours. What really counts in all these situations is your attitude towards them.
Once you feel positive, resourcefull and whole, looking for options and solutions is the natural way. Conversely, negative thoughts generate negative emotions such as fear, sadness, anxiety. Instead of options you only see the limits and constraints and the process is overwhelming. Seed more positive thoughts, observe yourself during the day and fade away the negative ones.You will feel and act differently day by day.
You are meant to create a vivid life and enjoy it! Seed some positive thoughts and you will harvest a joyful life ! How about starting today ?
