Walk in the shoes of a Life Coach #4

Time for some more powerful life coaching question :

“What’s in it for me?” vs. “How can I serve?”

A couple of years ago I’ve got a small book (great things come in small packages:)).. It’s a book about great success secrets named “the go-giver”.  As I am aware that stories about success are always successful, I considered relevant to share some insights with you. Some of you might seem surprised BUT the secret to success is giving…this might sound weird in a world of go-getters asking themselves “What’s is it for me?” or even “How much money do I get from this?” In fact, this tinny book wonderfully illuminates the principles of abundance, contribution, service and success through a simple, yet persuasive and lovely life story. The naked truth is a simple one – successful people think about serving other people, making a contribution to this world, dream big and have a great vision for the future. They act according to the following laws of success:

#1. THE LAW OF VALUE

Your true worth is determined by how much more you give in value than you take in payment

#2. THE LAW OF COMPENSATION

Your income is determined by how many people you serve and how well you serve them

#3. THE LAW OF INFLUENCE

Your influence is determined by how abundantly you place other people’s interests first

#4. THE LAW OF AUTHENTICITY

The most valuable gift you have to offer is yourself

#5) THE LAW OF RECEPTIVITY

The key to effective giving is to stay open to receiving

These days, the work paradigm changes radically and experienced professionals have to reinvent themselves inside-out. Now, it’s the perfect moment to have a reality check and see how well you observe these laws. In case #1-#5 are OK – it means you’re having the perfect answer to the “How can I serve. How can I contribute?’ question. So, what’s your favorite question, now?
